The MODSTER MDX PRO BF 109 is an electric warbird model based on the BF 109, also known as the Me109. The aircraft was the German Luftwaffe’s standard fighter until 1945 and an adversary of the British Spitfire during the Battle of Britain.

The MDX PRO model uses EPP foam described as more durable than that of the standard MDX models and is 10% larger, which results in improved stability and better visibility, especially in low light conditions. Its main electronics board has a 3-pin DSMX port and an S-Bus port for optional external DSMX satellites or S-Bus receivers. The factory-installed 6-axis gyro offers Beginner, Intermediate and Expert settings.

A dedicated aerobatic switch enables loops and rolls at the push of a button. The model comes assembled and painted; only the landing gear needs to be attached. A prop saver reduces the risk of propeller damage. Depending on full-throttle use, flight time is up to 7–15 minutes.

The included 2.4 GHz transmitter is supplied in Mode 2 configuration, with throttle on the left stick.
