Description
The SkyRC Shock Oil Bubble Buster (SK-600158) is a compact vacuum tool that removes dissolved air and micro-bubbles from shock oil using negative pressure. Trapped air is compressible and affects damping consistency.
A higher pump setting is used for thick, high-viscosity oils; a lower setting removes bubbles from thin oils more gently.
Notes
- Power source not included: LiPo battery with XT60 connector, or USB-C power bank or wall adapter.
- Foam tyres vary widely in material and formulation; test on a small area first to check compatibility.
Highlights
- Negative-pressure degassing removes dissolved air from shock oil
- Adjustable degassing strength from 3–5.5 V to suit oil viscosity
- XT60 input (5–15 V) for a LiPo pack; USB-C input (5 V) for a power bank or wall adapter
- Included multi-size supports fit shock bodies Ø13–Ø19 mm for 1/8 off-road, 1/10 touring and crawlers
- The process can be used for a single shock or a full set
- Vacuum can also help tyre additive penetrate foam pores more deeply and evenly
- Compact pit format
