PR Racing SB401R 2022 4WD Buggy Kit

Experience how much the SB401 R-Buggy in its "2022" version has improved compared to its predecessor. In 2018, the earlier buggy version went on sale and was the top choice among racers worldwide. Over the years, PR Racing has analyzed race data and driver feedback to get even more performance and driving pleasure out of the SB401 R with over 30 different upgrades.

Performance and longevity

The "adhesion" of the shock absorbers is decisive for the performance. To keep this factor as low as possible, new O-rings and shock towers have been developed, which thanks to new setup options on the towers have been proven to increase stability on flat and bumpy tracks. Of course, no savings were made on the new development of the wishbones also. They are now made of a fiber composite material and are therefore even more durable and offer even better handling on the track. The robustness of the transmission was also greatly improved. The drive shafts and main gears are now made of a different material that ensures positive acceleration.

Huge improvement in driving experience

Of course, all of the aspects mentioned above make the driving experience even more real and direct. In addition, the main focus during development was on the chassis. Too much flex impairs the car's ability to take precise corners, and too little flex results in a car that is too sensitive and too difficult to drive. A lot of tests later, this resulted in new, softer chassis struts and a redesigned transmission strut, which were highly praised by test drivers around the world. Thanks to new adjustment options integrated into the new transmission strut, the flex can be even more finely tuned for a variety of track conditions. Due to the newly designed steering plate, the included 8-degree C-hub and the resulting geometry, a maximum driving feeling is created.
