Jeder kennt die Gefahren, die LiPo-Akkus mit sich bringen. Dem Einen oder Anderen ist so ein Akku auch schon einmal in Flammen aufgegangen.
Mit dem MODSTER BAT-SAFE bieten wir Ihnen robusten und verlässlichen Schutz für ihre Lipo-Akkus.
Entwickelt wurde das Produkt von Tom Mast, einem renommierten Luftfahrtingenieur und begeisterten Modellflieger. Der Gedanke dazu kam ihm, als sein Haus beinahe in Flammen aufgegangen wäre. Der BAT-SAFE ist so konstruiert, dass die Akkus darin geladen und gelagert werden können. Die Ladekabel werden durch eine flammensichere Öffnung nach außen geführt.
Brennt der Akku, kann der im Innern entstehende Druck nach außen geleitet werden. Dies geschieht durch die oberen Lüftungsbohrungen, gleichzeitig wird der Rauch gefiltert, sodass keine schädliche Stoffe nach außen gelangen.
Im Innern der Box können bis zu 800° bei einem Brand entstehen. Durch die spezielle Isolierung werden Boden und Seitenwand maximal bis zu 80° heiß. Das austretende Gas erreicht dabei eine maximale Temperatur von 150°.
Sie können ohne Probleme zwei 3S LiPo mit 2200mAh in der Box lagern bzw. laden.
