Description
The SkyRC Tire Sander is a gluing dock for RC tyre sidewalls. Reinforced sidewalls reduce deformation at high speeds, improve cornering stability and provide more predictable handling on carpet and clay tracks.
A low-RPM motor rotates the tyre evenly without splatter. Speed is continuously adjustable via a rotary dial, and a switch changes the direction between clockwise and counter-clockwise. Power is supplied through an XT60 connector at 6–12 V DC, allowing operation from a 2S LiPo battery (7.4 V) or a 12 V power supply.
A mounting post with locking screw holds the tyre during rotation. Hex adapters for 1/10 on-road and off-road tyres are included. Anti-slip rubber feet hold the unit in place on a pit table or workbench.
