Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use our online shop – with a keyboard, screen reader, magnification or on a smartphone. Here is how far we are and how you can report barriers to us.
Last updated: 11 October 2026 · Version barrierefreiheit-2026-10-11
Scope and requirements
This statement applies to the online shop of Robitronic Electronic GmbH with product pages, search, customer account, ordering and payment. It follows the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG). The benchmark is the standard EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Compliance status
The shop is partially compliant with the requirements. The assessment is based on a self-assessment during development; a full audit according to EN 301 549 is under way, and we will add its results here.
How the shop is accessible
All functions can be operated with the keyboard; the focus is visible, and a skip link leads directly to the content.
Pages are structured with headings, landmarks and lists; menus and dialogs report their state to assistive technologies.
Form fields have visible labels; errors are named in words and with a symbol at the field concerned, never by colour alone.
Texts and controls meet the contrast requirements; the shop can be zoomed to 200 % and adapts to every screen width.
Forms such as login, registration and contact also work without JavaScript.
Moving content does not start by itself; videos only load at the press of a button.
Content that is not accessible
Product images have the product name as their text alternative; a description of the image content is often missing.
Manuals, data sheets and certificates come from the manufacturers and are often PDF files that are not accessible. If you need a document in another form, we are glad to help.
The input field for payment details is provided by our payment service provider Stripe; its accessibility is not in our hands.
The harmonised EU notice on the legal guarantee is a graphic of the European Commission; its content is available as a text alternative and in the text of the page.
Accessibility information on products
Where a manufacturer provides information on the accessibility of a product, we show it on the product page. Please ask us if you are missing such information.
