Description
The SkyRC T120 Pico is an AC charger with two independent charging circuits. It can charge batteries of different chemistries simultaneously, each with its own settings. Both channels have a front-mounted XT60 output and balance socket. It supports LiPo, LiHV, Li-ion and LiFe batteries with 2–4 cells, NiMH and NiCd with 6–8 cells, and Pb batteries with 3 or 6 cells.
An Arm Cortex-M3 processor keeps the selected charging values stable under full load. The main output and balance port work together to monitor every cell's voltage throughout charging. During charging, the plus button can be used to view each cell's internal resistance.
The ColorX interface uses a light cyan and green colour scheme and a Web2.0 menu. Plus, enter and minus buttons control the menus; a dedicated button switches between channels A and B. English is the factory-set menu language. At low currents, the temperature-controlled fan runs quietly.
Each port can also supply adjustable DC power for RC accessories such as a pit light, tyre warmer or tyre sander. Capacitive loads such as chargers or power supplies must not be connected, and batteries must not be charged in DC mode.
Notes
- DC mode is intended as a supplementary output for RC accessories. Do not connect capacitive loads such as chargers or power supplies, or charge batteries in DC mode.
