SkyRC Engine Heater

Engine heater for .19–.26 RC nitro engines with 90 W heating power

The SkyRC engine heater pre-heats nitro engines to 60–70 °C in 10 minutes, depending on ambient temperature. It heats the crank, con-rod, piston, sleeve and glow plug before starting.

Pre-heating reduces stress and wear during warm-up, reduces the pinch of a new engine during break-in and reduces the need to warm up and adjust the engine after starting. It also gives an easy, smooth engine start with no stress on the starter box and reduces fuel consumption during warm-up. A pre-heated glow plug also increases the life of the plug.
