Description
The Scorpion Power Systems RS-3420 is a Brushless DC car motor designed to meet IFMAR standards for use in 1/10 and 1/12 scale electric RC racing cars. It uses high-temperature components.

- Patented screw-type rotor surface increases flux density and cooling; a built-in rotor fan increases airflow and reduces internal temperatures
- No plastic inserts in the motor windings, allowing greater copper fill
- Rotor magnets protected by a metal sleeve; the largest glued surface for rotor, shaft and magnets of any motor in its class
- Built-in temperature sensors allow on-track monitoring when used with a Scorpion ESC
- 200% more cooling surface than comparable motors for heat dissipation
- High-grade silicon steel stator for maximum flux density and high-purity copper wire for minimum internal resistance
- High-temperature magnets; motor parts CNC-machined from 7075 aerospace-grade aluminium alloy
