Skywalker 2316 SL 980kV Brushless motor for fixed-wing models
The first-generation 23-series Skywalker motor is a Brushless motor for fixed-wing models. It complements Skywalker ESCs and produces around 10% more output power than comparable motors with similar specifications.
A special propeller attachment increases torque. The motor uses N48 magnets, a 0.2 mm JNEH1200 silicon steel sheet and high-temperature-resistant enamelled wire. A generous cavity in the motor, together with the self-draining structure of the top cover, increases cooling performance, so no problems due to excessive heating are to be expected. The rotor is also secured through the interaction of the various components in order to further increase the reliability of the Skywalker motors.
