MCD Racing – Scaler with gasoline engines

MCD Racing is a worldwide represented manufacturer of RC cars in the field of large scale models on a scale of 1:5. The remote-controlled petrol models have won several European as well as local national championships. With the Racer Runner, which is now available in its 5th generation as the RR5, one of the most successful off-road buggy models was launched. In the new short course segment MCD Racing has also been recently offering a model based on the Race Runner called the W5 MAX.

MCD Racing: RC cars for racers

MCD Racing is one of the most successful manufacturers of RC cars with a 1:5 scale, also called large scale model. From the beginning, priority has been given to the continuous development of the cars. Different disciplines, such as physics, geometry, chemistry, ergometry, style and computer science were combined and included in the research. Furthermore, racing drivers and racetracks are scrutinized to implement the information gained in the models. Through this approach MCD Racing manages again and again to launch remote-controlled cars for competition, which are very successful at championships.

V5: From buggy to short course

The 1:5 scale 4WD models are produced in a variety of designs: rally cars, short course, buggy and on-road vehicle. The current 5 series is the fifth generation of MCD Racing cars. The special thing is that the cars can be rebuilt. With the V5 chassis, it does not matter which model you initially choose, you can easily turn it into another because all the parts are compatible with each other. For example, you can convert a buggy into a short course with relatively little effort and ressources. Only for onroad and offroad there are different shock absorbers.

Bashing or racing with the W5 and the RR5?

The all-rounders, W5 and RR5, can be mastered in heavy terrain, forests, and beaches as well as on the racetrack. They are suitable for ambitious competitive riders and offer all the setup that savvy racers need in order to beat the competition by milliseconds.

The MCD RR5 Ultimate Rolling Chassis is the new flagship for the ambitious competitive driver and includes all the tuning parts that have already been tested by the MCD team racers and used successfully in competitions and the European Championship.

The MCD W5 MAX SCT is the competition-proven version of the W5 SCT with extended chassis and a significantly better performance. The construction is based on the competition buggy Race Runner RR5. As a result, the powertrain and suspension have already been used successfully in many competitions and are tested for reliability.

Tuning parts and accessories

All the models from MCD Racing can be optimally adapted to individual needs through upgrades. All tuning parts of the V5 family are compatible and can thus be upgraded to the ultimate racing machine.
